Join us for a Poetry reading with K. Prevallet, Patrick Barron, and River 瑩瑩 Dandelion!

K. Prevallet is a poet and former professor of literature and creative writing at The New School and Bard College who is currently the assistant director of the T.S. Eliot House in Gloucester, MA. An herbalist and scholar of trance, she is the author of six books including, most recently, A Varied and Tender Multiplicity: A Materia Medica of Poems, Plants, and Spells (Station Hill Press.) Patrick Barron grew up in the Pacific Northwest, spent significant years in Northern Ireland and Italy, and holds degrees in English and Cultural Geography. He now lives in Boston where he teaches at the University of Massachusetts. His books range from poetry to literary and landscape scholarship, including on the work of Charles Olson, and he has translated a number Italian writers into English, such as Andrea Zanzotto and Gianni Celati. 

River 瑩瑩 Dandelion is a visionary writer, healing arts practitioner, and facilitator. As a poet, he writes to connect with the unseen and unspoken so we can feel and heal. He is the author of remembering (y)our light, which was a finalist for the 2024 North Street Book Prize. He won the 2024 Lambda Literary Award for Exceptional New LGBTQ Writers in recognition of his work. He facilitates writing workshops to awaken our creative spirits, and has taught at New York University, Rutgers University, Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, and elsewhere. River loves to swim and does this work for queer and trans ancestors and descendants to come.
