Laila Goodman is a biology teacher, doula and magician. Her storytelling is a necessary practice to explain the many chapters of her life from growing up with a magician father to riding horses with urban cowboys in South Florida to being the spiritual advisor at a Jewish high school in Boston. She lives in Magnolia in a house that her husband’s grandfather bought in 1934.
