Join us for an evening with Kristin Czarnecki and Diane C. Braley at the Writers’ Center! Czarnecki and Braley, both of whom live on the North Shore, will read from their works in memoir and fiction, followed by a Q+A and reception!

Parking available on Chapel St. and at the North Shore Arts Association.

Kristin Czarnecki is the author of the memoir, The First Kristin: The Story of a Naming (Main Street Rag). Her creative nonfiction, poetry, literary criticism, and book reviews have been published in a variety of venues, and she has a chapbook forthcoming from dancing girl press. She holds a Ph.D. in English and is past President of the International Virginia Woolf Society. 

A raw, gritty New Englander, Dianne C. Braley a registered nurse with a passion for music, poetry, and literature. Braley has been featured in various online and printed publications. Her nursing blog, Nursing the Neighborhood, was named one of the top nursing blogs of 2018 by Nurse Recruiter. Her debut novel, The Silence in the Sound, has been named a winner in the Women's Fiction category in the April 2022 Firebird Book Awards. The novel is inspired by Braley’s real experiences caring for Pulitzer prize-winning novelist William Styron, who became the author’s friend and motivator.
